Co-ed Cardio and Strength Fitness (September to April)

Our co-ed fitness programs at the Oliver Senior Centre are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October to Easter. Both classes are for both men and women and will address all the health-related objectives of a complete fitness program. The first class (1:00 – 2:00) is appropriate for most seniors. The second class (2:15 – 3:15) is for seniors with health or physical limitations. Both are led by Merton Palmer. registered BCRPA Fitness Leader, who will customize the program to suit the needs of participants.

The Senior Centre has floor mats (you are welcome to bring your own if you wish), but no other equipment so please bring a stretch band and weights for some of the strength exercises. If you don’t have one or aren’t sure what that is, come anyway without one. Please also bring water to keep yourself hydrated.
