Country Music Tribute Event Very Successful!

Ron & Georgena - dancers as always! With tickets sold out well in advance, we knew this would be a hit and it was! The Country Music Tribute held Wednesday was very successful. Seats were filled for a western burger, slaw and beans lunch followed by a Country & Western music concert and dancing. Our sincere appreciation to Janice Skoreyko for completely organizing and running this event and to her husband, Lennie, for making the burgers, running the barbecues and so much more.

Our heartfelt thanks to the 20 or so volunteers who worked to sell tickets, promote the event, set up the hall, decorate, prepare food, take tickets, sell 50/50s, serve food and drinks, clean up and do dozens of other jobs.

We are more than grateful to Tracy at Polka Dot Gifts on Main Street in Oliver for helping to sell tickets.

The live music provided by Kelen and Laura and our own Tribute Band was delightful and the key to everyone’s enjoyment. The talent was wonderful!
