Volunteers Needed for Memory Cafe & regular duties
At our General Meeting on Monday a request was made to share the list of our current volunteer needs by email. We also urgently need volunteers for all aspects of the Memory Cafe next Thursday September 25th. Please check these lists and let us know as soon as possible if you are able to help with this very special event or with ongoing regular duties. We are completely volunteer-run and can not function without our strong volunteer corps.

VOLUNTEER OPENINGS September 2025
BINGO
SETUP – FRIDAY MORNINGS AT 9:45 – Tables and chairs for anticipated attendance, ranging from 90-190. Get out recycle pails, hardway whiteboard, etc.KITCHEN HELP – FRIDAY 9:45 – 12:45 – prepare hot dogs, condiments and coffee service, help serve, cleanup after.
FRIDAY AFTER 3:00 – Gather cups, glasses, any dishes, run dishwasher, clean sinks, counters and coffee pots.TAKEDOWN – 3:00 – Wash down tables, recycle bingo papers, put away tables and chairs. Put away whiteboard.
CONCESSION: FRIDAY MORNINGS 10:45 – 2:45 – Set up and sell pop, water, hot dogs and snacks. Closing cash out / inventory count. Clean concession at end of day.
RECEPTION: 9:30 – 12:30 or 12:30 – 3:30 Mon-Fri and Saturday 9:30-12:30. Front desk hosting, membership, punch card sales, ticket sales, activity sign-in, phone, tidying. Cash out and prep for closing.
CASH COUNTING/DEPOSIT PREP: Early morning 1-2 times weekly. 2-3 hours.
KITCHEN/EVENTS Various times/days. Help with preparation, setup, serving and cleanup after meals, ranging from small lunches to big dinners. Signup at the reception desk per event.
