We Had a Good Chili Supper and Lots of Fun!
Music Bingo brought out just under 50 people who were all set for a good time. We had Chili with hot dogs, salads and DIY ice cream sundaes then thoroughly enjoyed Kelly Wheeler’s Music Bingo. She did a great job and kept us well entertained. The breaks were entertaining too, thanks to our line dancers who showed us several dances. They are always happy to have new dancers, including total beginners, come out on Thursday mornings. It’s a great workout and lots of fun.
We are very grateful for the wines donated by:
Gadzook Vinery
Gehringer Brothers Estate Winery
Intersection Estate Winery
Jackson-Triggs
Last, but not least, is our unending gratitude to our volunteers:
The Ladies Keep Fit crew who set up the tables,
The Senior Centre Volunteer Band and crew who set up the hall after their jam session,
Margaret Wright and the drop-in group who set tables and hosted,
The kitchen meal prep and serving crews, coordinated by Roberta C and Lena C,
the bar crew and all the others who just came early to help,
Georgena and the kitchen clean-up team,
and lastly the very nice guys who came in at the end to put it all away!
